Captain Butts, you talk about your deep program for Trout. What are you running down deep, how deep, and how many rods do you put deep for trout.

When I fish for trout I do it one of two ways. Bounce bottom with fenders/flies and fenders and spin-n-glows is my most consistant method. The next method is to dedicate one or two rods in the spread over deep water to target trout. I will run fenders or spin doctors in the deep water program and run the program down 100 or more feet. Spin doctors work well here because they are more tolerant to diffent speeds. Trout fishing is like king fishing you need to work on colors and speeds to catch them. They are heavy feeders so they aren't to hard to catch if they are there.
The most important part is to find where there are hanging out.
Good luck, Brian
